The R-C Morning Report for Nov. 23

Genoa, Nev. — The Kingsbury traffic cam shows some snow on the road. Chains or snow tires are being required pretty much along the east and south side of Lake Tahoe and over Spooner.

There’s a property damage wreck seven miles up Spooner that is likely weather related. There’s a disabled vehicle on 50 near Round Hill Pines that’s in the road a bit. Let’s hope that there aren’t too many more.

Down in the Valley we got a little rain but it never got cold enough to snow last night. There’s a chance we might get some on Friday, but I’m not taking that bet.

Schools are half day today in preparation for the Thanksgiving holiday. Banks, the government, The R-C will all be closed on Thursday. Most of those other folks will be out Friday too.
