The R-C Morning Report for Nov. 21

Genoa, Nev. — Chains or snow tires are being required over Kingsbury Grade this morning. The traffic cam shows black concrete, and the road temperature is 39 degrees, sufficient to prevent ice. Be careful going that way this morning.

I’ve got 1.2 inches of rain from the weekend storm, plus what fell this morning, just north of Genoa. Further out in the Valley, rain totals were down to around .11 inches in Minden and Gardnerville.

The organizers are reporting a theft from one of the crafters at the Holiday Craft Fair over the weekend at the Douglas County Community & Senior Center. I’ll see if I can find out anything today.

It’s not done being wet out, yet, but it will be soon. After the clouds clear expect a high of 49 degrees and a light breeze. More weather is due on Tuesday and Thursday.
