The Oct. 18 R-C Morning Report
October 18, 2018
It sounds as though the county is pretty close to locating a search firm to help find a new county manager. Once picked, the firm will help by finalizing and posting the vacancy. County commissioners are scheduled to hear an update of the process at their meeting today in Stateline. That starts 1:30 p.m. in the Tahoe Transportation Center.
Commissioners are being asked to approve providing an interim town manager for Genoa until they can locate a new one. County spokeswoman Melissa Blosser will probably fill that role.
The annual statewide public earthquake drill, the Great Nevada ShakeOut is 10:18 a.m. today. Find out more at http://www.shakeout.org/nevada
