The Nov. 30 R-C Morning Report

A winter weather advisory is in effect for early Saturday morning through noon. Though likely to fall, it doesn’t look like it will be sticking around for long.

The weather should hold for both tonight’s holiday lighting events. Minden will light up the gazebo while Genoans carol and turn on the lights for Hope Falcke’s Christmas Tree. Both these things are going on after 5 p.m., so you’re going to have to pick one.

The Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center is hosting its Christmas event on Saturday before the parade. You could do that and enjoy breakfast with Santa in Genoa on Saturday morning.

Today will be partly sunny with a high temperature of 42 degrees. Snow isn’t due until 4 a.m. Saturday.
