The Nov. 29 R-C Morning Report
A warning about slushy roads has been issued by the National Weather Service after what was supposed to be rain got a blast of cold air. Snowy conditions are expected to continue until 7 a.m. today. The traffic cam at Airport Road doesn’t show any snow particularly.
It could be a wet Christmas Kickoff today in Heritage Park. Fireworks are scheduled to be lit off around 6 p.m. if the wind doesn’t pick up. At a forecast 9 mph, they shouldn’t be an issue tonight. Festivities start around 5 p.m.
Spooner Summit and Kingsbury Grade both have road controls this morning. So does Highway 395 through the Pine Nuts. It’s going to be stormy for a bit, so remember your chains.
It’s supposed to rain most of the day today, but we’ve already had a curve ball in that department. Expect cloudy skies and a high of 44 degrees.
