2020 might have offered yet another take on Black Friday. The sales have been ongoing for the past three weeks, so I’m not sure why people would flock to the big box stores. Some habits are harder to break than others, I guess.



It’s my impression that Thanksgiving passed in relative quiet in Douglas County on Thursday. It’s also Family Day, which means local, county and state offices are closed today.  The mail is running today.

It’s a tad chilly out this morning at 17 degrees. The high today is expected to rise to 45 degrees, with the wind out of the southeast at 5 mph dying down as the day progresses.
