The Nov. 13 R-C Morning Report
A project consisting of three 32-unit triplexes north of Sunridge is up before the planning commission of a tentative subdivision map at the 1 p.m. today at the CVIC Hall. Also before the planning commissioners is a two-year extension of a fish farm south of the Gardnerville Ranchos. I may have said that was going to be at the courthouse. I take it all back.
The redevelopment area at Lake Tahoe could cost the Douglas County School District $6.2-$8.3 million over the next three decades according to a report at the district meeting 4 p.m. today at the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority.
Smoke in the Valley is down to moderate levels due mostly to woodstoves I wager given the weather patterns, so far. It appears to be clearing out during the day.
With just a light breeze out of the north today, smoke from the Camp fire is probably staying on the west side of the Sierra, thought that could change a bit tonight. Expect a high of 57 degrees today under mostly sunny skies.
