The Nov. 1 R-C Morning Report

Agreements with the Parks and Mike Pegram for the right of way that will some day be Muller Parkway go before commissioners this morning. The agreements complete the length of the road along the northern boundary of Minden and Gardnerville.

Commissioners meet at 10 a.m. in the Carson Valley Inn today, so no live streaming. It looks to me as though they’ll be fortunate to get through the Muller Parkway items in the morning. They break for lunch and go back around 1 p.m.

The second reading for the 911 surcharge and the county manager discussion are toward the back of the meeting.

I bet more kids turned out for Trick or Treat Street than voted early on Halloween. I know there were 647 early voters. Maybe if the clerks gave out candy? Early voting continues today at the courthouse and 1-5 p.m. at the Johnson Lane Fire Station.

Expect sunny skies today with a high near 69 degrees, with the wind calm becoming northeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
