Genoa, Nev. — County commissioners are scheduled to meet 3 p.m. today to adopt the final budges for the county, the towns, The Tahoe Douglas Transportation District and the redevelopment agency, that prompted such rancor on Thursday.

Today will be the last day to secure tickets for the Remarkable Women luncheon at the Carson Valley Inn on Tuesday. They’re not onsale at the door, or at the office for that matter, so you have to go through http://bit.ly/remarkablewomen2019

It’s chilly out this morning, with the low in Genoa hitting 27 degrees and Minden down to 26 degrees. It rained in parts of the Valley on Sunday. Heavenly reported 2 inches of new snow on the mountain.

Today will be transitional as a new storm rolls in. Expect sunny skies with a high near 59 degrees and the wind out of the west at 15-20 mph, gusting to 35 mph.
