The Dec. 11 R-C Morning Report

After spending hours wrangling and then rejecting developer agreements that might complete Muller Lane Parkway, commissioners took a relatively short time to winnow down the number of candidates for county manager down to six on Monday.

Patrick Cates, Steve Davis, Michael Johnson, Ron Knecht, Niel Nelson and Tom Stone will be interviewed next week if they can make their way to Minden.

A proposed project on Park Cattle land between Westwood and the East Fork has been delayed due to a typo in one of the parcel numbers. Planning commissioners will hear the Klauber Ranch proposal in January.

That doesn’t leave planning commissioners much to do today but review a subdivision map creating seven parcels at Santa Barbara and Vicky in the north Valley. Planners meet at 1 p.m.

Douglas School Board trustees will discuss awarding a contract related to renovations at Jacks Valley Elementary at their 4 p.m. meeting at the Airport Training center today.

You wouldn’t know it to look outside, but it’s supposed to be mostly sunny outside today with a high temperature of 41 degrees.
