The Dec. 10 R-C Morning Report
Genoa, Nev. — County commissioners are meeting today to start winnowing down the number of manager candidates they have to interview next week. It sounded like each commissioner would bring a list of candidates and they would compare them today.
The meeting starts at 3 p.m. to discuss second reading of the Muller Lane Parkway agreements. The county manager portion won’t start until 4 p.m. at the Douglas County Courthouse, 1616 8thSt., in Minden.
There’s a chance of rain after 10 a.m. today mixing with snow after 4 p.m., which means a 100 percent chance of ice tonight, so be careful on the roads.
I’m back in the Valley after two months of treatment for lymphoma. I’m still pretty fragile and I’m not ready to go on camera just yet, but that feature will return when I feel strong enough.
