Spring rummage sale March 28

Staff reports

The Pau-Wa-Lu Music Boosters will sponsor the group’s annual spring rummage sale and raffle March 28 at the Old Playhouse Gym in front of Carson Valley Middle School from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Starting March 13, music students will be selling raffle tickets for $1 each. The winners will be announced the day of the rummage sale on KGVM radio.

Prizes being donated include two tickets to “Master Magician Tony Clark” and a $50 dinner certificate for Josh’s at the Horizon; a breakfast, lunch or dinner buffet for two at the Roman Feast, Caesar’s Tahoe; a portable anti-skip CD player from the Music Boosters.

In addition, Dr. David Lund will donate two “Rota-dent” professional rotary dental care machines.

The money raised will help the PWLMS music department fund a trip to Santa Clara in May where students will attend the “Music in the Parks Festival.” It will also provide scholarships to send PWLMS band and chorus students to the Lake Tahoe Music Camp.

Donations for the raffle can be made by contacting Michele Baumann at PWLMS, 265-6100.

The public is also encouraged to donate items for the rummage sale. Take items to the PWLMS parking lot on March 27 between 2-4 p.m., or to the Old Playhouse Gym between 5-6 p.m.
