Sierra Nevada Republican Women to honor two area women
The Sierra Nevada Republican Women recently announced the group’s Entrepreneur 2000 award recipients.
The honorees are Lori Britton, owner of A Wildflower, and Roxanne Stangle, owner of Tumblewind.
According to the dictionary, an entrepreneur is one “who organizes, manages and assumes responsibility for a business or other enterprise.” The dictionary defines enterprise as a “project, especially an important or difficult one dynamic boldness or ingenuity a company organized for commercial purposes; a business firm.”
“Certainly, Roxanne and Lori fit into the definition of entrepreneur and certainly typify all of the qualities of free enterprise, the backbone of America’s economy. Successful effort by the individual has made America the greatest country in the world,” said President Diane Gordon.
Gordon said, it is with pleasure that the Sierra Nevada Republican Women honor these two outstanding women at the regular monthly luncheon meeting at Two Guys from Italy Wednesday, Nov. 8.
