Scout cookies go on sale
You’ve waited a whole year and they’re finally back!
Starting Saturday, Feb. 28, through Sunday, March 22, your favorite Girl Scout Cookies will be available. Local Girl Scouts will sell cookies directly to the public at booth sales and deliver cookies ordered in January and February.
All proceeds of the sale benefit Girl Scouting in the community. Participation in the sale teaches girls important skills, such as handling money, goal setting and teamwork, as well as raises funds for activities and projects including camp, financial assistance and career mentoring programs.
This year, varieties include Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Shortbread, and Five World Cinnamons. There are also two reduced fat options: Lemon Pastry Cremes and Iced Ginger Daisies. The cost is $3 per box.
