Rainey to offer last greatest hits show

Staff reports

Tim Rainey, DJ at KGVM-FM in Gardnerville, has announced that his rock ‘n’ roll request oldies show, “Rock ‘n’ Roll’s Greatest Hits,” will air for the last time from 6 to 9 p.m., Sunday, March 28.

“After 2-1/2 years on the air, now is the best time to go. KGVM is changing and we might as well go off on top,” Rainey said.

The deadline is Friday, March 26. No phone calls, please, he said.

“Rock ‘n’ Roll’s Greatest Hits” is broadcast live every Sunday night from 6 to 9 p.m. on KGVM, 99.1FM.
