St. Gall honors pope

St. Gall Catholic Community will celebrate in memory of Pope John Paul II throughout the week.
Each day, the church bells will toll at noon 26 times, representing the year of his papacy.
On Friday, the day of the funeral, we will celebrate an interfaith memorial service at 6 p.m. On Saturday, there will be a liturgy in English and Spanish, dedicating special prayers for the pope.
Youth will commerate the life of the pope on April 11 at 6:30 p.m., and on April 12 the Divine Liturgy for the Deceased by Benedictine oblates at 7:30 a.m.
There will be a rosary for peace on April 13 at 3 p.m., and April 14 will feature adoration of the blessed saacrament, with prayers for the election of the new pope from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On April 15, Women’s Society and Knights of Columbus will plant a tree in memory of the pope in our memorial garden, and on April 16, there will be a special prayers mass at 5 p.m. and a 6:30 p.m. hispanic prayer service.
