Someone’s golden parachute

Last Sunday, the company that owes (and will probably never pay back) $14 billion [Detroit News Jan. 31] to the 53 percent of us who pay taxes, spent over $10 million to advertise its latest car that can parachute from a cargo plane and bungee jump. Please explain how these attributes will entice me to buy this thing?
This is the same warped thinking that brought us the Volt.
