Partnership’s Ring in Kindness bells out Monday

Staff Reports

The Partnership of Community Resources, Sapphire Wizard and many community members have been busy molding, painting and stringing for the last six months to prepare for the Ring in Kindness hanging of the bells.

Ring in Kindness bells will be hung all over Douglas County including the Lake beginning Monday. The butterfly bells have been created with love and kindness and symbolize community connection and support.

If you find one, the partnership wants you to take it home and hang it up, or share it with someone you know who could use a lift in their spirit right now. This bell is a reminder to inspire kindness everyday throughout your community, state and world.

If you would like to share your experience of finding a bell, volunteer time or make a monetary donation to the project, call the Partnership of Community Resources at 782-8611 or http://www.partnershipresource.org.

The partnership is gearing up for their next hanging in the spring.

They meet the second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at Sapphire Wizard Fired Art, 1459 Highway 395, Gardnerville.
