Catherine Wadsworth Fillmore, 79, died Oct. 21, 2002, at her Carson City residence.
A native of Genoa, she was born June 27, 1923, to Chester and Pansy (John) Wadsworth and lived in Nevada all her life.
Mrs. Fillmore married Jimmy Fillmore in 1940. He died in 1979.
She was a housewife and a member of the Housing Authority Council, the Carson Colony Community Council and the Washoe Tribal Council.

Her husband, Jimmy Fillmore; son, Dean; daughter, Emeline Fillmore; and brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Surviving are daughters, Genevieve Morris, Norrine Malone, and Francine and Ellen Fillmore; sons, Jimmy, Jr., Warren, and Byron; sister, Melinda Murphy; 20 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at Walton’s Chapel of the Valley, 1281 North Roop St., Carson City, with burial at the Stewart Indian Cemetery and a dinner immediately following the burial.
Arrangements are being handled by Walton’s Chapel of the Valley.
