This is the time year when many of us think about making some changes in our lives. Some of us are afraid of change. Others are afraid of failure. Change doesn’t come easy to most people.
The Bible tells us that if we haven’t been born again, then change is necessary. Jesus said we must be born again to enter the kingdom of God. However, that change is impossible to do on our own. It takes the Spirit of God to make you a new creation. It is the power of the Holy Spirit that translates us from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light.
John 1:12: But as many as received Him to them he gave the right to become children of God to those who believe in His name. Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
Talk about change! When we are born of God, we become a new creation in Christ.

You may be a person who has never received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. You may even be religious. If so you can experience forgiveness, a release from guilt, a new outlook on life itself and best of all eternal life.
Wow! We don’t really need much more that that. Maybe you’re a person who once walked with the Lord and have lost your way. Jesus is the God of new beginnings, you can be restored and returned to all the benefits of the right relationship with God.
By simply repenting and walking in obedience to his word. The story of the prodigal son is a good example of this.
Luke 15:11-32: Jesus made it clear that he not only came to give us a new life, but he also came to give us an abundant life and John 10:10. He said, I have come that you may have life and that you may have it more abundantly.
Everything we want, everything we need, everything we desire is available in Christ. This world only offers substitutions, the nature of a substitute is that it’s only temporary and it’s never the real thing. If you want or need a new life, Jesus Christ is your answer. Being born again is the solution.
