Middle school presents new version of old whimsical tale

Carson Valley Middle School presents the musical “Follow That Rabbit – The Wonderland Story,” March 22-24 at the CVIC Hall in Minden. Tickets for general seating are $7 for adults and $5 for Carson Valley Middle School students, staff and children younger than 12 and seniors.

March 24 is family night with a family ticket costing $30. Tickets are sold at the door.

“Follow That Rabbit” centers around Alice as she follows the White Rabbit down a rabbit hole. Alice enters Wonderland… “Where everything is quite absurd! It’s even stranger than you’ve heard!”

Alice meets such characters as the Red Queen and Cards, Mad Hatter, March Hare, Dormouse, Tweedledum & Tweedledee, Cheshire Cat, Caterpillar, White Queen, White Knight, Duchess, Cook, walking and talking flowers and animals.

The play is adapted from the writings of Lewis Carroll, with the book by Tim Kelly, music by Pamela L. Hughes and lyrics by Hughes and Karen Selby.
