Hope and healing
July 3, 2012
Douglas Center for Hope and Healing held it’s second annual fundraiser on June 22. With the assistance of many individuals and businesses throughout our community, we have offered free grief support groups to teens, adults and children in Douglas County who have experienced the loss of a loved one. We have provided services to over 25 grieving families.
In addition, funds raised will help send children to our grief camp held in August at Lake Tahoe.
We would like to thank the following people and businesses for helping make our fundraiser a wonderful success: Don Frensdorf, Heidi Landwehr, Silver Strike Lanes, Classical Glass, Fresh Ideas, Cafe Girasole, Dainty Nails, Century 21 Clark Properties, Edgewood Tahoe, J.T.
