Don’t walk diagonally
January 10, 2012
I have to agree with the suggestions for both pedestrians and drivers. However, a very important one for pedestrians that I see violated too often and should be added is: Do not walk diagonally across wherever you are crossing.
I see this both on city streets and in parking lots. It is very unsafe as a driver has no idea just where the pedestrian is heading and sure doesn’t make their walk any shorter. Personally, I’d rather be safe than sorry.
