Crop for Kids benefits children

Staff Reports

Do you need time to get your stamping and scrapbook projects done without constant interruptions? Would you like to spend a day with other women who share your passion for scrapbooking and stamping?

Local Close To My Heart consultants are presenting an opportunity to help children as well as a way to get scapbooking done with a fundraiser. Crop for Kids will take place 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., May 12 at the Carson Valley United Methodist Church. Cost for all day is $30 with special classes, chic purse and card class $10 and Braggin’ Tags Mini Album for $15.

Highlights of this event are 12 hours of cropping, raffle prizes, goody bags, a silent auction and technique and product demo. Snacks, lunch, dinner and an ice cream bar will be at the event.

The proceeds raised from the crop and classes will go to Operation Kids. Operation Kids divides 100 percent of its donations among children’s charities that each serve a different need.

Register by April 15 for a special drawing. The winner receives entry and classes for free. For more information or to sign up contact Rachel Christensen 265-2376.
