Kolene Crouch, 50, went home to live with the Lord on Tuesday Nov. 6, 2012 after several years of battling breast and bone cancer. Ko was born in Carson City April 11, 1962 but was raised in Elko. Kolene and her husband Steve were friends in high school and were married in Carson City in 1995 where they raised their 5 children together. She passed away quietly surrounded by family and friends. Kolene will be missed for her big heart and warm friendly smile. She was the cornerstone of her large family and active in the LDS church where she served as a Primary President, Young Woman’s President and numerous other leadership callings. Ko had such a positive infectious spirit, people just naturally gravitated towards her wherever she went.
