Obituary: Edmund Enriquez

Edmund Enriquez, also known as Eddie, Ed, and Edwardo, born December 10, 1935 in Los Angeles, CA passed away February 4, 2013 peacefully at his home in Topaz Ranch Estates, Nevada. Edmund is survived by two daughters, Debbie Dunahue of Tioga, Texas and Elizabeth Enriquez of Las Vegas, Nevada also 4 grandchildren and 1 great grand-daughter. He is also survived by brothers Gilbert Enriquez of Hacienda Heights, CA, Frank Rouse of Canada and sisters Sylvia Pannell of Palm Desert, CA and Ruth Scott of Canada. Edmund was well known and liked throughout Gardnerville and the Carson Valley as an outstanding aviator and flight instructor. He has worked as an airline pilot and was known for his popular locally produced Edwardo’s Salsa. Edmund had been a valley resident for over 30 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard. His niece, Lena Johnstone prepared a memorial DVD and photo poster to honor her beloved uncle’s celebration of life. A memorial service will be held at the United Methodist Church, 1375 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville, February 13, 2013 at 11am. Everyone is welcome.
