Marjorie was born to Hazel and John Cole on February 15, 1926 in Indianapolis Indiana. At the age of two, Marjorie was moved to Hope Indiana, where she was raised by Lois and Bill Middleton on a small farm. Marjorie grew up learning the ways of a farmer, butchering chickens and pigs and eating off of the land.

She left Hope, Indiana as a teenage girl, Marrying a young solder during War. Marjorie was part of the great manufacturing effort by women to support the War.

After the War, Marjorie remarried Joseph Houillon and they relocated to Southern California in 1948. They had four children together.

In 1960, Marjorie remarried again to Melvin Cohen and together they had one child, in addition to Melvin's two children. During these years, Marjorie went to work manufacturing electrical motors and spent most of her working years in this line of work.

In 1976, they relocated to Reno, Nevada and Marjorie has spent the remainder of her life in the Reno, Carson City and Minden areas of Northern Nevada. Marjorie considers Northern Nevada her Home.

As a widow, she remarried Robert McMillan from Minden Nevada. During her final years she battled the affects of congestive heart failure and passed away in her son's home in Carson City, Nevada on May 30, 2017 at the age of 91, surrounded by family.

Marjorie is a beloved Mother and Grandmother and is adored by her family. Marjorie is survived by her five children, Gloria Spittle, Russell Cohen, Catherine Pratt, Philip Cohen, Mitchell Cohen; and 2 step children, Carolyn Stevens and Larry Cohen. Marjorie has 17 grandchildren and 46 greatgrandchildren. Marjorie has a beautiful legacy and a wonderful posterity.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 411 North Saliman Rd., Carson City, Nevada

A viewing is scheduled from 9am to 10:30am in the Relief Society room, followed by the funeral service at Noon in the Chapel.
