New student registration at Douglas High Aug. 5
Douglas High School is holding a registration and information night for new students to our community, who are not currently enrolled at the school.
New students and their parents should plan to attend New Student Registration Meeting 5:30 p.m. Aug. 5 in the Douglas High Commons.
Parents should bring any school and immunization records they have for their students, as well as verification that they reside in Douglas County (typically, a utility billing statement).
Douglas High Link Crew students and advisors will host two orientation sessions Aug. 11 for incoming freshman and sophomore students and their parents.
The freshman session is from 10 a.m. until noon; the sophomore session is 1-3 p.m.
Students should arrive a few minutes before their session and meet in the DHS Commons.
Parents will also have an opportunity to answer questions and receive tips for a successful start to the school year at 3:30 p.m. in the Commons.
If students, parents, or community members have any questions, they should call 782-5136, extension 1711.
