NARFE will hear representative of Sen. John Ensign
On Tuesday, March 27, 2 to 3:30 p.m., at the Douglas County Public Library meeting room, the Minden-Gardnerville chapter of National Association of Retired Federal Employees will hold its regularly schedule monthly meeting.
“A representative for Sen. John Ensign’s office will discuss the impact of the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and the Government Pension Offset (GPO) on Social Security benefits received by government retirees,” said Roger Paul.
“We urge all retired federal employees and all potential new members to join us at this important meeting to discuss how we are being impacted by the WEP and the GPO and to request Senator Ensign’s support for legislation to resolve these issues,” Ronnie Park said.
