Man found with nearly empty vodka bottle

A 68-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday on DUI charges after blowing a .401, according to Douglas County Sheriff's Office arrest records.
The man was arrested at 3:22 p.m. after deputies observed a vehicle unable to maintain their lane near Highway 395 and Leviathan Mine Road. Upon inventory of the vehicle, deputies also located a nearly empty vodka bottle.
He was arrested on suspicion of DUI, open container and failure to maintain a lane.
His bail was set at $1,800.
A 39-year-old Gardnerville man was arrested Sunday after deputies located a man allegedly swinging a metal stick in the road.
The man was arrested at 9 p.m. near Highway 395 and Southgate for intoxicated pedestrian in the roadway after deputies drove by and saw Wyatt beating the ground with the stick. Reports indicated he was having difficulties speaking and had a .071 percent blood alcohol level.

His bail was set at $100.
A 28-year-old Gardnerville man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery charges.
Deputies responded to the 1300 block of Leonard Road for a subject, who allegedly hit a woman multiple times. The suspect had left the residence when deputies arrived but was later located near the 1700 block of Mahogany Circle.
His bail was set at $3,000.
