Workshops set for proposed trails

The U.S. Forest Service, along with the Carson Valley Trails Association, will host two informational workshops on the proposed nonmotorized Genoa Foothill Trail System.

The first of the two meetings will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Genoa Town Office.

The second meeting will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Jacks Valley Elementary School.

The purpose of the workshops is to answer questions and gather feedback regarding this trails project in northwest Carson Valley.

Both workshops are conducted in an open and informal question and answer format. The public is welcome.
