Watering restrictions instituted in Genoa

County water customers in Genoa Lakes, Montana and Walley’s Hot Springs are being asked to limit their outdoor watering use as much as possible after the West Valley Water System’s Genoa Lakes well failed at about noon today.
According to the county, the well driller is on site and is working on the failed pump and motor. A new pump and motor have been ordered and the county is waiting on delivery.
County officials anticipating having the pump and motor replaced within the next 12-24 hours.
Until then the county is asking that all irrigation of the common and landscaped areas stop.
