Visioning workshop Monday at CVI
Douglas County is hosting two workshops Monday to get input on what residents envision as the future of Carson Valley.
The public workshops are 10-11:30 a.m., and 5:30-7 p.m. at Carson Valley Inn.
“The purpose of the Valley Vision is to enable citizens of Douglas County to define a shared future for the Valley,” said Melissa Blosser, community relations director.
She said the workshop is an opportunity to review and share ideas about the future that will help preserve qualities that “make it a special place to live while encouraging economic opportunities for generations to come.”
Identical content will be discussed at both sessions.
The first 30 minutes will be an open house, followed by 30 minutes of presentation and 30 minutes of public feedback.
