Valley photo studio chosen best of 2006
December 8, 2006
For the second year in a row, Gardnerville’s Positive Images Photography was chosen by the editorial staff of the Consumer Business Review as best photography business of the year.
“The first year, I didn’t even know I was nominated,” said owner Annette Philips. “It’s an honor because people nominate businesses and then vote. They’re my clients so it speaks louder than anything.”
Business owners and employees from all lines of work in Northern Nevada are recognized by Consumer Business Review every year at Hot August Nights.
Philips and her staff of photographers, Pam Hoyt, Starr Thompson and Mary Gourlay, specialize in weddings, family portraiture and senior photographs.
Philips is in her 14th year of business and feels customer service is what allows Positive Images to be honored with awards as well as return business.
“We help with the planning of the weddings and events,” said Philips. “We care and that’s why our people will always send us their friends and family.”
