The National Weather Service issued its drought statement today, and surprise … we still are in one. The East Fork of the Carson River through Gardnerville is at 88 cubic feet per second, which is 30 percent of average. The West Fork at Woodfords is at 29 percent.
Today’s weather calls for a chance for isolated thunderstorms after 11 a.m. with mostly sunny skies and a high temperature near 90. Expect the breeze to pick up to 5 mph out of the northwest.
