The R-C Morning Report: Weather
November 12, 2007
More than a third of an inch of rain fell in parts of Carson Valley on Sunday as a wet weather system arrived in Western Nevada. The same storm dropped 3 inches of snow in Kirkwood. Ski season arrives in Douglas County on Friday, when Heavenly opens for the season.
If you were planning a trip to the bank or to conduct some business with the government, forget it. While Sunday was the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, today is the day off. Never fear, though, The Record-Courier crew is on duty.
There’s a big old patch of fog following the river this morning, and it’s 23 degrees out just before sunrise. Today is forecast to be partly sunny with a high at 52 degrees. High temperatures will warm up in the middle of the week and then there is a chance of rain over the weekend.
