The R-C Morning Report for Oct. 27

Genoa, Nev. — There was a brown cloud over Gardnerville on Monday night that sent lots of folks looking for wildfires. East Fork Deputy Chief Dave Fogerson said a burn in the Stanislaus National Forest could be the culprit. Air quality in the Ranchos dropped into the unhealthy range around 7 p.m. It's back up to good this morning, and the incoming system should keep it that way.

A Gardnerville man accused of sexually assaulting a co-worker during a break at the business where they both worked is scheduled to be sentenced today in Douglas County District Court. Jose Clemente, 19, has been in custody since March 12.

Today expect mostly cloudy skies with high temperature near 69 degrees. The wind will be out of the west at 5 mph calming down after midnight. There's a chance of showers after 5 p.m.
