The R-C Morning Report for Oct. 25
October 25, 2016
Genoa, Nev. — A South Lake Tahoe man accused of armed robbery is due to appear in Douglas County District Court for arraignment on two cases this morning. David Martinez, 33, was taken into custody at a Lake Tahoe casino on a warrant in September.
I don't think I've ever seen the number of early voters increase on a Monday, but that's what happened. The Clerk-Treasurer's Office is reporting 1,608 people cast ballots on Monday. That means 4,100 Douglas voters have cast a ballot early or absentee so far. The early voting roadshow begins today at the Sunridge Fire Station 2-6 p.m. Anyone may vote at any polling place during early voting. Visit govotedouglas.com for more information.
It's going to be a little blustery today with a high temperature of 66 degrees. The wind will be out of the southwest at 10-15 mph, gusting to 25 mph.
