The R-C Morning Report for Nov. 28

Genoa, Nev. — Road controls are pretty much gone this morning, since it's 45 degrees out right now. The Weather Service is still calling for a chance of snow, but that's on a planet where the overnight low dipped down to 30 degrees.

The California Highway Patrol reports Sonoa, Tioga and Monitor passes are all closed due to snow this morning. None of the passes are closed for the winter just yet, but that time is getting near.

It's pretty windy out, though, with a 34 mph wind gust clocked near Genoa, so hang onto your hat today. The forecast calls for a high today of 42 degrees with a chance of snow.
