The R-C Morning Report for Nov. 16
November 16, 2016
Genoa, Nev. — You don't need a super moon to see there isn't a cloud in the sky this morning. The storm looks like it may be blowing itself out. There's very little indication of moisture on the radar.
It's blustery out this morning, so watch for debris, flying school children, cows. Besides the wind warning through Washoe Valley there aren't any road controls out there.
The high temperature today is supposed to hit 47 degrees, which is pretty much the temperature at 5:30 a.m., so don't expect it to get much warmer.
At least one person was transported from a wreck at Genoa Lane and Highway 395 on Tuesday night, reportedly involving a light colored car and a dark SUV. Occurred at 5:17 p.m.
County commissioners will be canvassing the 2016 election at 1:15 p.m. today at the Douglas County Courthouse. That will be there meeting for the week, as they're headed south for the Nevada Association of Counties meeting in Pahrump.
A flood workshop is 2-7 p.m. today at the Douglas County Community & Senior Center. Maps and representatives of every flood-releated agency known to man will be there. New flood maps will be available for viewing.
