Genoa, Nev. — A Gardnerville man who admitted stealing items from his employer's house after entering through the dog door is due to be sentenced today in Douglas County District Court. Reese Kizer, 27, faces up to five years in prison.

The Douglas County Public Library Book Sale is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the CVIC Hall.

If last night's moon was big, tonight's supposed to be super. Moonrise is around 5:25 p.m. It will be a balmy 59 degrees around that time, according to the National Weather Service.
