Genoa, Nev. — County commissioners are scheduled to hear a master plan amendment and specific plan for a project on the northern end of the Corley Ranch at their meeting today. Commissioners meet in the Douglas County Courthouse starting 1 p.m., but the request is toward the end of the agenda.

An interim director has been appointed for Main St. Minden after director Sheila Kendrick gave up her position. National Weather Service forecasters have gone all in for rain on Saturday night and pretty much all in for snow on Sunday. We could be looking at around a half-inch of precipitation during the weekend. But I hesitate to share the forecast of 4 inches of snow Sunday in the Valley.
