The R-C Morning Report for March 25
March 25, 2016
Genoa, Nev. — It's Good Friday and area churches are having services, including Live Stations of the Cross at St. Gall on Centerville at 12:10 p.m. People are welcome to watch.
There are lots of egg hunts in Carson Valley with by far the largest at Lampe Park 1 p.m. Sunday hosted by the Carson Valley Active 20-30 Club.
The Carson Valley Almanac should be in your newspaper today, whether you get it delivered or purchase it in a news stand. We're selling the papers with Almanacs in them today. You can pick up an extra copy starting Monday for free.
This is the last day of school before spring break, so next week watch out for children out and about during the day.
If you took a picture of last Friday's seven-day forecast and superimposed it on today's, you'd have a hard time telling the difference. The forecast contains rain and snow on Monday. We'll see.
Today will be sunny with the wind picking up to 10-15 mph this afternoon and then settling down through Saturday, before it starts in earnest on Sunday. The high temperature today should hit 65.
