The R-C Morning Report for June 3
I’ve got a report that there were several small fires set in Gardnerville last night around midnight. I’ll be following up on that this morning. We had a red flag warning through 9 p.m. last night. No sign of any major conflagrations as a result, according to the Sierra Front Interagency Dispatch Center.

Members of the Genoa Town Board are scheduled to talk about the Genoa Cowboy Festival and the implementation of point of sale transaction fees for credit, debit and ACH payments. Town Board members meet at 6:30 p.m.
Main Street Gardnerville is asking the town to create a Gardnerville Enrichment Council as a 501 c(3) to work in partnership with the town.
It looks like sunny skies and temperatures in the low 80s through next Monday. Today expect the high to hit 82, with a light west wind at 5 mph.
