The R-C Morning Report for June 21

Genoa, Nev. — A continued arraignment in the case of a Gardnerville man who texted a wife a picture of himself with a gun to his head is scheduled in Douglas County District Court for today. The problem for Dell C. Plante, 47, is that he’s an ex-felon and not supposed to have a gun.

A random 32-inch log was on fire in Hope Valley on Monday morning. It was put out quickly, according to the Sierra Front Wild Web. Please be careful with fire, whatever you’re doing.

It really wasn’t that sunny on Monday, so maybe there’s a chance for a redo today. Expect sunny skies and a high near 93. The west wind will be at 5-10 mph, increasing to 10-15 mph in the afternoon, gusting to 25 mph.
