The R-C Morning Report for July 31

Genoa, Nev. — The St. Gall Rummage Sale begins this morning, and I wager there are already folks parking along Centerville to get there. If were commuting into town from the Ranchos, I’d take Riverview this morning.

Minden’s got a working flagpole for the first time since the February windstorm that bent over the last one. That same storm was also responsible for damage to more than 300 roofs in Douglas County, according to the building permits.

There’s a blue moon tonight, but with the cloud cover forecast for tonight, we may not see it. There’s a chance of isolated thunderstorms today after 11 a.m. Expect the high to hit 92 today. The cloud cover will keep the heat in tonight with the low dropping to 57.
