The R-C Morning Report for July 28
Genoa, Nev. — Co-defendants in a Gardnerville Ranchos drug case are scheduled to appear in Douglas County District Court this morning. Kimberly Nunez and Joab Marqez both plan to admit charges of sales of a controlled substance this morning, according to their attorneys.
In the Goldfield mining camp they used to say that only a saloonkeeper had the wherewithal to keep a lawn green. If you’re tired of footing the bill, there’s a lawn replacement forum 6-8 p.m. today at the community center on replacing your lawn with something less thirsty.
It’s going to be hot later this week, but we’re going to have to do a lot better than upper 90s to break any records for the last week in July.
Today expect a high of 85 degrees and winds out of the east picking up to 5-10 mph later this morning.
