The R-C Morning Report for July 23

Genoa, Nev. — The owners of the Dollar $tore and Party Connection, which caught fire on July 11, have set up a Gofundme account to raise $100,000. The account is located at http://www.gofundme.com/zwc4d4s

I'm hoping we'll get the identity of the Zephyr Cove man who was killed on Kingsbury Grade on Monday afternoon. That wreck occurred on the Lakeside of the Grade.

Work is under way on Sierra Lutheran High School's new 2.3-acre multi-purpose athletic field. Miles Construction is doing the work and expected to have it done by fall.

The rain is gone from the forecast for pretty much the rest of July. We had .06 inches fall in Genoa on Wednesday afternoon. Today expect a west wind of 15-20 mph, gusting to 30 mph, this afternoon. The high is expected to top out at 85 degrees.
