The R-C Morning Report for Dec. 29
A man accused of battery on a prisoner two days before he was transferred to prison to serve time on a felony DUI is scheduled to appear in Douglas County District Court today. Wesley Vernon Clark, 30, will be one of District Judge Michael Gibbons’ last criminal cases. By next week the judge should be serving on the first Nevada Appeals Court.
Tuesday is forecast to be a mess, with snow rolling in for the morning commute and tapering off by the evening commute, should the predictions be believed. The prediction for wind and colder temperatures, on the other hand, I’m completely on board for.
It’s 21 degrees out with no clouds in the sky, but that’s supposed to change in the next 12 hours. By 7 p.m., the forecast calls for mostly cloudy and a chance of snow. We’ll see how that goes.
