The Business Council of Douglas County’s Critical Issues Conference is today starting 7 a.m. at the Carson Valley Inn. They are kicking off with a talk from Cisco Systems Senior Vice President Howard Charney at 7:45 a.m.
The Wolf Creek fire continues to burn south of Markleeville. It’s been a while since we’ve had a smoke report from it, but with the wind picking up today, we might. There are firefighters at the scene monitoring the fire.
It will be another cool sunny day today with a high of 78 degrees and south winds 5-15 mph turning to the west and gusting up to 25 mph.
